For me, the weekend included a trip to ancient Rome via vaudeville with "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" at the Atheneum (review coming this week) and a chance to hear a vocally powerful teen production of "Ragtime" at Summer Stock Stage.
But there was a lot more going on as well.
It was the final weekend of the Indianapolis International Film Festival, with the award-winning films all screened Sunday. Symphony on the Prairie took a folkie apporach with Brandi Carlile, and the IMA's Movies on the Terrace offered a midnight screening of "Monty Python and the Holy Grail."
Did you catch any of the above? Or did you find something different to do with your A&E time?
