The State Fair is over. IndyFringe is done. What's a get-out-and-goer to do now?

Here are some viable options:

Dig-In, a Taste of Indianapolis
Not sure if you are in the mood for food from Union 50, Tinker Street, Late Harvest Kitchen, or R Bistro this Sunday? Can’t decide between Roasted Elk with Corn and Pickled Jalapeno or Blackstrap Molasses and Sriracha Pulled Pork? No need to choose at this annual event, where a $45 ticket gets you samples of all of the above and much more, including beverages from 12 craft breweries and eleven wineries. A lineup of Indiana-based performers helps wash it all down, musically.

“Norm Lewis: Who Am I?”
Followers of musical theater can easily answer that question. Norm Lewis is Porgy. He’s King Triton. He’s Javert. He’s Billy Flynn. And he’s the Phantom of the Opera.

Cabaret at the Columbia Club   Aug. 28-29   Details

“Sacred Journeys”
A fragment of the Dead Sea scrolls, a throne made for the Dalai Lama, and a pamphlet written by Martin Luther are among the artifacts on display, along with National Geographic photographs, at this show exploring journeys taken by various faith groups. Subjects include the Western Wall, the Great Mosque, Bodh Gaya and the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. On opening day, Tibetan Buddhist monks construct a peace sand mandala and, on Sept. 30, the outdoor Indy Festival of Faiths fill Veterans Memorial Plaza.
