“The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”

Teens battle in a regional bee—and show their true selves—in William Finn’s popular musical. Actors Theatre of Indiana—and some gutsy audience members—approach the microphone this time. I haven’t seen a theater miss with this one yet.

The Indianapolis Symphonic Choir performs Stravinky’s “Symphony of Psalms” Feb. 3 at the Schrott.
