Noblesville-based Spectra Tech LLC is planning to construct a 9,000-square-foot building that will provide warehouse and office space.
The company said it will spend $825,000 to build the new headquarters on a 1.25-acre property at 15230 Endeavor Drive, east of Cumberland Road and south of Greenfield Avenue.
Construction is expected to start next month and be completed by March.
The city of Noblesville is considering a two-year, 100 percent real property tax abatement that would save Spectra Tech nearly $39,000. The Noblesville City Council discussed the incentive Tuesday night and could finalize the agreement later this month.
No additional hires are anticipated as part of the move, but the company said it will retain 18 employees making an average annual wage of $34,000.
Spectra Tech, which develops and provides solutions for rehabilitating aging wastewater infrastructure, is currently located at 10340 Pleasant St.
The company was founded by Jim Johnson in 2004.
According to documents filed with the city, Spectra Tech had been considering relocating outside of Noblesville.
