Development plans could be in the works for another large piece of land along Michigan Road. The 18-acre North Park Masonic Lodge property at 5555 Michigan Road is under contract. The lodge is selling the property without a broker. In 2005, a neighborhood group launched a fundraising effort to block a developer’s plan for high-density housing. A woman who answered the phone at the lodge would not say who the contract is with or how much it is worth. The property, which includes a structure built in 1957, appraised for $713,600 in 2006.
