The Indiana Pacers recently signed a deal making Wagner Reese the official injury attorneys of the Pacers.

The multi-year deal with Indianapolis-based Wagner Reese includes in-stadium signage, radio broadcast ads and live in-game mentions, as well as sponsorship of the pre-game injury report. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“Growing up in Indianapolis, I’ve been a Pacers fan my entire life,” said Steve Wagner, a partner with Wagner Reese. “From Wayman Tisdale to the Davis brothers to Paul George and the current crew. I actually named my parakeet after Tisdale when I was 16.”

Wagner Reese was founded in 1997 and has offices in Carmel and Indianapolis. The firm, which has a statewide practice, is currently building a new headquarters at the intersection of U.S. 31 and Old Meridian in Carmel.

Wagner Reese officials said the Pacers sponsorship was alluring due to the team’s statewide appeal.

“We represent injured Hoosiers all across the state, and the Pacers truly are Indiana’s team,” said Jason Reese, a partner with the firm.

Todd Taylor, Pacers senior vice president in charge of sales and marketing, said Wagner Reese is a strong addition to the team’s stable of sponsors.

“Teams make improvements on the court with trades and through the draft. It’s the same on the business side. We added something special with Wagner Reese,” Taylor said in a statement. “Steve and Jason have built a great hometown business and we look forward to helping them to continue to grow.”
