Bio
Jim Morris is husband to Shantel (28 years), father to Dylan (21) and Kyla (18) and the President & CEO of Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity. Jim is in his 15th year leadingthe regional affiliate that is part of the worldwide affordable housing mission. He has guided the affiliate from providing 24 housing solutions in Marion County annually to over 100 in four counties annually.
He has a total of 35 years’ experience in both the nonprofit & market sectors. He has spent his last 27 years in the nonprofit sector, including 22 as a CEO/Executive Director and his last role in the market sector as the VP of Marketing/Construction for a custom home builder in Florida.
He completed his MBA in 2008 from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College in Orlando, Florida after being awarded the Martin Bell Scholarship, a full-ride scholarship awarded annually to one senior nonprofit executive who demonstrates outstanding leadership in the nonprofit sector. Jim is also a published writer, having written for several magazines.
He was born and raised in Michigan City and finished his undergraduate work at Ball State University with a degree in Journalism & Marketing. He and his family have attended Common Ground Christian Church since 2011.

Dr. Virginia Caine , MD
Bio
Virginia A. Caine, MD is the Director and Chief Medical Officer of the Marion County Public Health Department. She is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Indiana University (IU) School of Medicine Infectious Diseases Division. She served as a Past President for the American Public Health Association and was the 125th President of the National Medical Association. She received the Bio Crossroads "2017 August M. Watanabe Life Sciences Champion of the Year"
Award as the first Black and first woman to receive this award and the Indiana Governor's highest award, Sagamore of the Wabash award for service. In 2020, the Indianapolis Business Journal (IBJ) named her as one of 40 Influential People of the past 40 years.
Dr. Caine works tirelessly to promote and advance public health through innovative programs and unprecedented collaborations. Her boundless energy, vision, and drive to serve people, especially disadvantaged areas, have led Dr. Caine to have her fingerprints on numerous projects.

Dr. Lindsay Weaver
Bio
Dr. Weaver was named Indiana State Health Commissioner by Governor Eric J. Holcomb in June 2023, and reappointed by Governor Mike Braun on Jan. 13, 2025. She brings to the role a passion for improving the health of Hoosiers through a focus on prevention, data-informed programming, and access to care in all corners of the state.
Prior to her appointment, she had served since Feb. 3, 2020, as the chief medical officer for the Indiana Department of Health (IDOH), where she helped to lead the state’s pandemic response by spearheading the development of the statewide lab testing network to expand COVID-19 testing capacity in Indiana and led the statewidedistribution of COVID-19 vaccines and therapeutics. She provided clinical input and support to all agency divisions during her tenure as chief medical officer and helped lead efforts to transform the delivery of public health services in Indiana.
Dr. Weaver is also an assistant professor of clinical emergency medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine and continues to practice emergency medicine at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
She earned her undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Kentucky and graduated from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. She received residency training in emergency medicine and fellowship training in hospice and palliative medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine, and she completed a fellowship in ethics at the Charles Warren Fairbanks Center for Medical Ethics at Indiana University Health.
Dr. Weaver and her husband have five daughters.
