The Eagle restaurant for Southern cuisine won’t be moving into part of Stout’s Shoes after all. It has signed a lease to occupy a bigger space just a stone’s throw away.
The Eagle restaurant for Southern cuisine won’t be moving into part of Stout’s Shoes after all. It has signed a lease to occupy a bigger space just a stone’s throw away.
The Eagle, a Cincinnati-based restaurant operated by the Bakersfield ownership group, will occupy space Stout’s Shoes is vacating as part of a store downsizing.
Stout's Shoes plans to downsize its flagship Mass Ave location, which it touts as the nation's oldest shoe store, to make way for a new restaurant and bar along the popular dining corridor.
After years of failed attempts to create a viable Web presence, Stout’s Shoes has finally plunged into cyberspace using the route experts say many small companies follow: giving the job to a young, tech-savvy family member with an aptitude for social media.
