Police are looking for vandals who left their mark on a church van. Racist graffiti was spray-painted on a van at the Celestial
Church of Christ in the 3800 block of Farnsworth Street on the southwest side of Indianapolis. Church members parked the van
late Saturday night, and the hate messages were discovered around 9:30 a.m. Sunday. Anyone with information about the vandalism
is asked to call metro police.
Indiana Pacers draft pick Lance Stephenson is facing an assault charge in New York City on the accusation that he pushed his
girlfriend down a flight of stairs. NYPD spokesman Paul Browne said police arrested Stephenson after responding to a 911 call
Sunday at the woman's Brooklyn home. He said she hit her head on a concrete step, and was treated for head and neck injuries.
Police arrested Stephenson on charges of assault, reckless endangerment and menacing.
The body of Samuel Donahue, a 21-year-old from Brownsburg who had been missing since Saturday, was found in a pond early this
morning near State Road 39 and W. County Road 400 S. in Clayton early Monday morning. Donahue, a National Guardsman who returned
from Iraq in December, was out drinking with a friend early Saturday morning when the two decided to go swimming. It was assumed
he had gone home after swimming. Fox59 will have more at 4 p.m.
