Police look for fast-food robber

Police are looking for a robber they say shot a man Sunday in the McDonaldâ??s parking lot near 52nd Street and Keystone Avenue
in Indianapolis. The victim said the robber jumped in his car and demanded money. The victim said he didn’t have any money,
so he jumped out of the car, and the robber shot him in the leg. The victim went to Methodist Hospital in stable condition.
The suspect took off in a Silver Chevrolet Impala.

Man shot during east-side robbery

A man was robbed, shot and left for dead as he was walking his dog late Sunday night on English Avenue on Indianapolisâ??
east side. After two men approached Gabriel Jordan and tried to rob him, Jordan took off running, but one of the men shot
him in the back, according to police. His dog ran home, alerting his wife, who called 911. The victim was taken to Wishard
Hospital in critical condition. The suspects made off with Jordan’s wallet.

Man jumps 40 feet, ending police chase

A traffic stop for a seat-belt violation yesterday afternoon led to a chase and a 40-foot fall. Richard Stedman, 44, was pulled
over in Plainfield because one of his two passengers wasnâ??t buckled in, according to police. After his passengers got out
of the car, Stedman took off, leading police onto Interstate 70 at speeds close to 100 mph. The car chase ended at Indianapolis
International Airport when Stedman hit a retaining wall at the arrival ramp, got out of the vehicle and jumped over the wall.
Stedman, who has outstanding warrants for burglary and receiving stolen property, was taken to Wishard Hospital with serious
injuries.

to the Park 100 business park on Indianapolis’ northwest side, making what it calls a multimillion-dollar investment in the
operation.

Ball State student mugged, severely beaten

In the latest in a string of assaults at Ball State University, student Kyle Evans, 23, was attacked at 3:30 a.m. Thursday
as he walked home from a bar. Police say a group of men attacked him with baseball bats and Tasers, and then stole his wallet
and cell phone. The victim was rushed to the hospital with a head injury and is recovering. No suspects were caught.
