Indiana health provider says no to drug reps: Arnett joins others wary of industry marketing power

There truly is no such thing as a free lunch, or at least that’s what Arnett Health-System told drug company sales representatives last fall. Chicago Bears T-shirts are outselling Indianapolis Colts T-shirts by 55-45 margin at Wal-Mart, according to MarketWatch. Simon funds from operations rise 7.5 percent in 4th quarter

Funds from operations increased 7.5 percent, to $450.4 million, in the fourth quarter for Indianapolis-based shopping mall owner Simon Property Group. For 2006, funds from operations rose 8.9 percent to $1.5 billion. Real estate investment trusts like Simon commonly use the funds from operations measure rather than net income.
