3 thoughts on “Honda moving Accord production to Indiana after 40 years in Ohio

  1. If I’m not mistaken, the future of the automotive arket is in EV’s.
Yet the Indiana Hond operations will not include any EV manufacturing
    at all.

This doesn’t bode well for future Honda manufacturing in Indiana.

  2. The Indiana Auto Plant currently makes two models that are Hybrids. Yes, I agree that EV is the future, but consumers will still continue to buy Hybrids as they get more accustomed to full EV’s. I don’t think the Indiana plant will have any issues. They made that plant to be very versatile for production. They can produce multiple models all on the same line simultaneously. They can adapt that production line for just about anything, which is probably why they can easily move the Accord production there. As EV’s become more popular I believe they will eventually start making EV’s in Indiana as well.
