A Muncie man survived a close call with an out-of-control car at an auto repair shop on Thursday afternoon. According to
police, the car collided with another vehicle and then careened into Earl’s Auto Repair in Muncie, smashing through
a wall. A mechanic was temporarily pinned by the vehicle and later was taken to a hospital with a few broken ribs, according
to the shop owner.
