Bardon was key to new legislation

I enjoyed your coverage [in the Mat 24 Banking and Finance Focus] of new Indiana legislation promoting traditional mortgages and increasing the protection afforded
to deposits of state and local funds. These ideas were combined in one bill (HB 1336).

I would like to emphasize the role of Rep. Jeb Bardon in this process. His quiet, effective leadership got these two concepts
moved forward. He understood the politics of the matter, worked with the administration and helped our taxpayers and consumers
in the process.
