[In response to the Oct. 25 editorial] Just ask the for-profit businesses that tout “economies of scale” when gobbling up competitors—is this the sentiment Indiana government thinks of the future Marion County! Our townships are not business competitors; they are governing for the people—not for greed, not for profit.
According to the [editorial], our townships are able to better manage resources and oversight for accountability of those resources. So, no big county government for our townships of Marion County. No thank you!
