Thanks so very much for pointing out the many triumphs and great moments Indianapolis and Indiana had in 2012 [Dec. 31 Benner column]. The column was uplifting—so helpful after weeks of fiscal cliff news with such a negative outcome. Remembering those who perform in the face of adversity is uplifting, something some politicians should learn from. We admire those who perform when times are tough.
