  1. Also, experiences with personal travel have been so poor, who wants to fly anywhere for business. No direct flights anywhere and overcrowded flights and don’t forget, the chances of a flight being canceled during one of the legs of your trip is pretty high as well. Flying is a huge inconvenience these days!!!

  2. While some travel will likely return, electronic communication and virtual meeting via apps have proven acceptable and satisfactory for many meetings previously held face to face.

    Considering to cost and logistical inefficiencies of some business meetings (marginal benefits notwithstanding), fewer business trips is not surprising. And this, one can opine, is welcome news for many road warriors.

  3. Because they realized during the pandemic that almost all business travel is an unnecessary boon doggle!
    I used to work with a guy that spent most of his days plotting how he could get misc conference attendance approved so he could use the miles to go on cruises…..
