    1. Smith has been deeply unserious the last few columns, this one is no different.

      The issue isn’t that parents need more votes. It’s that elderly voters, a cohort that includes Smith himself, have pulled the ladder up behind their kids and grandkids. They’re the ones who caused the problem.
