  1. Breaking news: career politicians and appointed career judges don’t want the federal extortion of the 47% of those who actually pay taxes to stop.

Breaking news: stock market futures playing games to short the market then win on the rebound.

    1. Career politicians who do Trumps’s bidding or they get primaried?

Republicans have had all the levers of government for 5 months now. Remind me why they don’t just pass a law implementing these tariffs? Or has it been really consuming all their time cutting Social Security and Medicare to give the ultra wealthy another tax cut?

    2. Well Joe B…

Seems you missed this career politician part I’ve stated since 2007.

      Every one. All sides.

You’ve made so many assumptions to those who comment…

Haven’t changed in decades… fiscally conservative and socially libertarian over here!

    3. I personally think “career politician” is a nonsense statement. People complain about career politicians but we return them to office at a clip well over 90%. People don’t complain when you get a career physician doing your surgery.

Besides, the times we send someone different to Washington, how’s that work out? I mean, lots of people voted for Mike Braun over career politicians in 2018. How’d that work out for everyone? But hey, Braun wears a blue shirt. He must be a man of the people.

No one is being extorted. Taxes are being cut continually for those who can most pay, and the burden is being shifted to those who feel it more. What’s happening is that everything since FDR is being rolled back, by folks who want to wipe out the middle class. They want you unable to buy a house, unable to buy a car. They want us to be a nation of renters, in hock to the uber wealthy at all times, working factory jobs for low pay until the moment you drop dead. And they want to keep you distracted, angry about the transgendered or abortion or vaccines, while they do it.

    1. I think they took a few minutes to read what the law actually says. One of these was a Trump appointed judge so it’s hard to claim these guys ALL overstepped their legal authority. I could see your point if the decision was not unanimous, but that’s not the case.

    2. It’s like there is some sort of MAGAt coach that tells the entire cult what to say when things don’t go their way. Trump Derangement Syndrome does exist but it’s not leftists who are afflicted with it.

  2. Trump has “economic policies”?!? This is news to me. It’s all about chaos and intimidation. It amazes me that one person could have trashed an economy that was the envy of world in little more than 100 days in office.

    1. Which economy was trashed? If you were talking about the stock market, it is higher today than it was on January 10, ten days before Trump was inaugurated. The price of a barrel of oil that same day was $78, today it is $61. The annual rate of inflation for April was 2.3%. Under Biden in 2022 it got to almost 10%.

    1. The Wizard of Oz administration has ended. You know very well who’s in charge now. It’s visible every single day.

    2. No single person is in charge of the nation. That’s the point of the United States of America.

  3. latest form of ‘lawfare’ against Trump & Co. Let him run his ‘art of the deal’ and stay out of the way and it’ll be over in 3 more months. Naive to expect an overnight success. Besides those complaining were more than happy to allow a zombie be at the helm for previous 4 years and look the other way.
