Our tax dollars at work. Swell.
Reminder – the Indiana Supreme Court, made up of five Republicans, barely agreed on the settlement that Rokita couldn’t abide.
Two of the five justices, including Chief Justice Loretta Rush, said the settlement was “too lenient based on the Respondent’s position as Attorney General and the scope and breadth of the admitted misconduct.”
Kind of makes clear why Rokita is fighting so hard to make sure the Indiana Supreme Court doesn’t get a second chance to rule on his behavior.

What a waste of MY MONEY. If he wasn’t such a jack a$$ he would not be in this situation but his “holier than thou” attitude and mouth keep costing us money. When the violation is not related to his job, but created by him personnaly (which this was) the money should be coming from his pocket and not ours.
So was his funding for his personal defense cut 10% like all other budget items?
Where’s DOGE when you need it?…..
More winning from this jerk.
Nate— post a link to the headline you ran about Hogsett costing taxpayers $300K
Nice deflection, Chucky.
Republicans don’t listen or see the damages they are doing . So it is no surprise they cut funding of schools for the deaf and blind in their budget .
Rokita is a hack
“The state paid four law firms a combined $491,508 between 2022 and 2025 to represent Rokita in at least six separate matters before the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission—investigations that the Republican describes as politically motivated and retaliatory.
Only two of the investigations resulted in formal disciplinary charges.”
So two of the six investigations have resulted in formal disciplinary charges, and at least one is still pending, according to the article. This is at least one third of the complaints ended against Rokita, possibly half. And this is the top law enforcement officer in the State of Indiana? The GOP calls itself the party of law and order, all evidence to the contrary.
