This always makes news every year. I’m not sure why. My wife and I were “DINK’s”, Dual Income No Kids, both making a 6 figure salary and out of all of my work peers (either single or with families), we were the only ones that ever took advantage of this. We were the only ones that could afford to. It was a terrific tax break. Tens of thousands of dollars of income didn’t get taxed when that income would have bumped us into the 20-25% tax brackets.
My point is, this is just another tax break for the top 10%.
I’d be interested in hearing from other people because I don’t think these new limits don’t mean much to most of the US population.
