The market is saturated just like craft beer scene which already flat lined/fell off. These tariffs are kicking an injured horse. It’s a terrible thing to do.
Tariffs sound great until you actually try them. Quick way to scare the entire economy into a recession.
Folks in Kentucky had experience with tariffs targeting their products in the first Trump administration. Apparently it wasn’t bad enough to dissuade them from a repeat experience … or some people just are slow learners.
Consider that damage to the American “brand” is likely to be generational. The America Firsters will learn the hard way that every action has an equal and opposite reaction – some will decide that the reaction to America First is America Alone.

There is no good news for tariffs unless you got out of the market and got into cash to buy a lot of distressed assets at low prices. Everyone knew tariffs remained an awful idea and yet another reason to not vote Trump. You’ve yet to make it make sense.
