  1. Demo was mentioned to start by end of year at one point. Groundbreaking in the spring? Event at Pan Am Pavillon scheduled for New Year’s Eve so that building will be in place at least until that time.

  2. Glad to see the city doing whatever it took to get this project done. Nashville and other peer cities are close on Indy’s heels and are spending 100’s of millions on developments for the soul purpose of luring events from Indy. We can’t afford to be conservative when it comes to conventions and sporting events. Nashville is saying, “ if you can’t keep up indy, move out the way and let a real city do the job”!

    1. Kevin P.

      Exactly right!!
      Nashville is very concerning.

The funny thing is I’m old enough to remember when Nashville was no where
near the city that it is today. It’s amazing how that city has taken off and become
such a desirable place to for companies and people to migrate to.

****Indianapolis must be aggressive in bringing jobs to our downtown.****
That’s a must to keep our momentum going.

    1. From the Downtown Indy website: “Indianapolis’ premier convention hotel, the JW Marriott Indianapolis offers 104,000 square feet of meeting space, 1,005 guest rooms and 50 meeting rooms.”

  3. BIG event going right now with PRI. These are bedrock events we cannot afford to lose. If you live and work in Indiana developments like this are good news.
