The Indiana Historical Society has hired veteran local broadcaster Mike Ahern as senior community affairs adviser.
Ahern will make public presentations, including talks about his connection with the Indiana Experience exhibits, inside the downtown history center.
AhernAhern will also be involved in media relations and help coordinate the annual Indiana Living Legends gala, for which he has been master of ceremonies.
Ahern spent 12 years with the Speedway Radio Network before joining WISH-TV Channel 8. Ahern retired from WISH in 2004.
