  1. They are not risking their fan base; they’re spitting in their fan base’s faces. There is no longer any benefit to flying Southwest. Their fares are not the lowest, bags are no longer free, and now it’s the same assigned seat BS as on every other airline. This is about them listening to the hedge fund guys and not their most loyal customers. I’ve been A-list for over 15 years but no more. Hope the hedge fund boys buy enough tickets to make up for the current frequent customers who will be moving on.
