Months after opening its first coffee and cocktail spot in Fountain Square, West Fork Whiskey Co. is expanding the concept, opening a Broad Ripple location this summer.

West Fork Social House, a rebrand of the previously named Rise & Revel, will open in the Bulldog Bar and Lounge building, 5380 North College Ave., in mid-July, the distillery announced Tuesday. The coffee and cocktail spot will accompany the South Broad Ripple sports bar complex not far from Butler and Marian universities.

“We’re excited to grow this coffee and cocktails hospitality concept in Indianapolis,” co-founder David McIntyre said in a written statement. “West Fork Social House is a way for us to welcome guests and introduce them to our whiskey — while also giving them a place to enjoy it with their friends, the way we think whiskey should be.”

West Fork Social House serves both coffee and cocktails–coffee in the morning and whiskey cocktails in the afternoon and evening. The menu includes drinks like “But Banana Bread at Work Dude?” a concoction of aged rum, banana, sherry, amaro, lime and demerara sugar.

Originally named Rise & Revel, the first Fountain Square location opened in March on the first floor of the Union Square apartment complex, 1233 Shelby St.

“West Fork Social House’s new location and revamped concept include the same warm and inviting characteristics of the Fountain Square location, but with a new name and extended opportunities to enjoy fresh brewed coffee, whiskey-forward cocktails and elevated bar bites in a cohesive space that feels like community,” co-founder Blake Jones said in a written statement.

West Fork Whiskey Co. was founded in Westfield in 2015 by Blake Jones, David McIntyre and Julian Jones, two brothers and their childhood best friend. Early last year, the distillery announced a partnership with Ouabache Investments to land up to $18 million in capital to expand production and accelerate growth.
