Maria Korsnick
Bio
Drawing on her engineering background, hands-on experience in reactor operations and a deep knowledge of energy policy and regulatory issues, Korsnick aims to increase understanding of nuclear energy’s economic and environmental benefits among policymakers and the public.
The Export-Import Bank of the United States has appointed her to its Advisory Committee and its Council on China Competition; and the U.S. Department of Energy has appointed her to its Nuclear Energy Advisory Committee. She also serves as a member of the board of directors of the U.S. Energy Association; National Energy Foundation; Center for Energy Workforce Development; and the Foundation for Nuclear Studies. She also serves as a trustee of the Nuclear Power Labor Management Cooperation Committee Trust, vice chair of the University of Maryland Department of Mechanical Engineering External Advisory Committee, and a member of the Purdue University School of Nuclear Engineering Advisory Board.
Before joining NEI, she was senior vice president of Northeast Operations for Exelon, responsible for overseeing operation of the Calvert Cliffs 1 and 2, R.E. Ginna, and Nine Mile Point 1 and 2 nuclear power plants.
Before Exelon, Korsnick served as chief nuclear officer (CNO) and acting chief executive officer at Constellation Energy Nuclear Group. She began her career at Constellation in 1986 and heldpositions of increasing responsibility, including engineer, operator, manager, site vice president, corporate vice president, and CNO.
Korsnick holds a bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering from the University of Maryland, and has held a Senior Reactor Operator license. She lives in Maryland with her husband, and they are the parents of two adult children

Suzie Jaworowski
Bio
Suzanne Jaworowski is the Secretary of Energy and Natural Resources for the State of Indiana, appointed by Governor Mike Braun. Secretary Jaworowski brings extensive experience in energy policy as a leader in the private sector and the U.S. Department of Energy.
As the Secretary of Energy, Jaworowski will provide leadership to navigate Indiana’s energy challenges and improve accessibility. Consistent with Gov. Braun’s agenda, the Administration is focused on ensuring the state has enough affordable and reliable energy sources to sustain current residents and attract new development.
Jaworowski most recently served as Executive Director of Stakeholder Services at MISO Energy, overseeing stakeholder relations and client services. She previously served as Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor for Policy & Communications in the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of Nuclear Energy during the first Trump administration. While at DOE, Ms. Jaworowski lead the International Framework for Nuclear Energy Cooperation, as chairperson for the 65-country, government-to-government initiative on safeguards, security and development for nuclear energy. She later went on to work at the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna, Austria.
Before her federal service, Jaworowski directed communications and government relations at Hallador Energy and founded Ryder Research Consulting, where she advised energy companies, utilities, and industry associations.

In June 2000, broadcast news veteran Gerry Dick and technology entrepreneur Scott A. Jones formed Grow INdiana Media Ventures, LLC, a media company created to deliver Indiana business news and information through multiple media sources. Mr. Dick is president and managing editor of Inside INdiana Business, a division of IBJ Media.

Mr. Dick's broadcast news background includes 14 years as a principal reporter and field anchor at WRTV (ABC) in Indianapolis. While at WRTV, he reported on issues facing communities throughout Indiana and neighboring states. His work received an Emmy nomination for a 1993 series on Indiana companies doing business along the U.S.-Mexico border. He has also held reporter and anchor positions at television stations in Fort Wayne and Terre Haute.
Prior to the creation of Grow INdiana Media Ventures, Mr. Dick served as senior vice president of the Indianapolis Economic Development Corporation, where he was responsible for a broad range of initiatives, including marketing, communications, advertising and media relations.
Mr. Dick has three times been presented with the state’s top honor, the Sagamore of the Wabash, by Governors Kernan, Daniels and Pence. He has also received Ernst and Young’s prestigious Entrepreneur of the Year award and been recognized by the Small Business Administration as its Journalist of the Year. Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick has received an EMMY five times for best interview/discussion program/series or special.
Mr. Dick is a native Hoosier, born and raised in the Vermillion County community of Clinton. He is a graduate of Indiana State University, which has recognized his professional accomplishments with its Distinguished Alumni Award.
He is a member of the board of directors of The International Center and past board member of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, serves on the Board of Advisors at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis and the Dean’s Executive Council at the Scott College of Business at Indiana State University and is a founding member of the Dean’s Advisory Council at the Indiana University School of Informatics. Mr. Dick also serves as chairman of the Scholarship Selection Committee for Vectren Corporation and is an honorary member of the Rotary Club of Indianapolis.
Mr. Dick is married to the former Roz Redman of Dana, Indiana. Roz and Gerry are residents of Lawrence Township in Indianapolis and have three children.

Nate Feltman is President & CEO of IBJ Media, parent company of the Indianapolis Business Journal, Inside Indiana Business and the Indiana Lawyer.
Nate began his career as a corporate lawyer working in Moscow, Russia in the 1990s, then as a partner at Chicago and Indianapolis based law firms where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and
economic development.
Nate worked in economic development for Governor Mitch Daniels and helped create the Indiana Economic Development Corporation in 2005 and served in Governor Daniels’ cabinet as Secretary of Commerce for the State of Indiana from 2007 – 2009.
Prior to his leadership role at IBJ Media, Nate served as co-owner and CEO of healthcare provider Home Health Depot.

Natalia Saraeva
Bio
Natalia Saraeva serves as the Lead for Engagement at the Office of Nuclear Energy within the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). In this role, she leads efforts to foster collaboration and public engagement around key nuclear energy initiatives. Previously, she led the Consent-Based Siting Team within the same office overseeing the planning and implementation of strategies for siting federal consolidated storage facilities for the nation's spent nuclear fuel.
Before joining DOE, Natalia worked at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, where she was detailed to DOE as a senior advisor. She also spent nearly a decade at Argonne National Laboratory, supporting a wide range of projects for DOE and the National Nuclear Security Administration. Earlier in her career, Natalia served as a staffer for the Blue Ribbon Commission on America’s Nuclear Future and was a fellow with the U.S. Nuclear Industry Council, among other roles.
Natalia holds a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering and an M.S. in Nuclear Security from the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute, as well as an M.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
She lives in Silver Spring, Maryland, and enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, and decompressing through yoga and Pilates.

Jan Trapani
Bio
Jan Trapani is the current Mayor of Bridgman, Michigan, a small community of 2,300 individuals, located in Southwest Michigan on Lake Michigan. We are home to the Donald C. Cook Nuclear Facility. She has served on the City Council for 4 years before she was appointed Mayor in 2024.
Jan is a lifelong resident of Bridgman (except for a short residence in California), attended local schools, and has experienced the benefits of clean nuclear energy and economic growth.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN) and has held all nursing positions from staff nurse to leadership, has achieved a Public Health Nurse Certificate in the State of California, and in years past, was a member of the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHG). She is currently employed at Corwell Health Lakeland in St. Joseph, MI.
Jan has been married to her husband Vince for 39 years and is proud to call Bridgman her home.

Heather Gries
Bio
Heather Gries serves as the elected Spencer County Commissioner for District 2, representing Carter, Clay, Grass, and Jackson townships. First elected in 2020, she is currently completing her 2nd term and is on the ballot again in 2028. A dedicated public servant and advocate for rural progress, Gries brings a diverse professional background and a strong community-centered vision to her role.
Gries currently President of the Indiana County Commissioners Association for the Southwest District, a role she assumed in 2023 prior Vice President of the for the Southwest District in 2022. These positions reflect her peers’ confidence in her collaborative leadership and forward-thinking approach to county governance.
Gries is also a passionate entrepreneur and community connector. In 2018, she founded Business Networking Spencer County to strengthen local business relationships, and later that year launched Livewire Coworking, Jasper’s first co-working space. Her civic involvement includes serving on the boards of Spencer County CASA and the Spencer County Catalyst Group, both since 2018, and graduating from the Spencer County Leadership program in 2019.
Driven by a commitment to economic development, Gries focuses on uniting local business leaders, expanding infrastructure, and preparing Spencer County for sustainable rural growth.
She lives in Dale with her husband Jim, a grain farmer, and their three children—Jordan, Victoria, and Trevor. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, horseback riding, and volunteering. Known for her deep roots in the community, Heather Gries continues to be a champion for progress, connection, and quality of life in Spencer County.

Ed Soliday
Bio
Representative Ed Soliday was employed by United Airlines for over 35 years holding several positions from Pilot and Flight Manager to Vice President of Safety Quality Assurance and Security. Captain Soliday was also responsible for crisis management during 9/11 at United. While serving as a line pilot for United, he also served as President and Chief Executive of Kid’s Alive International, a group of international children's homes.
As an attack helicopter pilot in the United States Army, Representative Soliday earned the Distinguished Flying Cross, two Bronze Stars and the Purple Heart for his service.
During his career at United, he made multiple significant contributions to safety including the development of emergency response methodologies, and Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning Device development and Safety Management Systems.
Soliday served on numerous aviation safety related advisory boards and commissions including the International Air Transportation Association Flight Safety Committee, the Executive Board of the Flight Safety Foundation, and the NASA Aviation Safety Program Executive Panel.
Among his awards are the Indiana Aviation Hall of Fame, Bendix Trophy for Aviation Safety, the Vanguard Trophy and the Laura Tabor Barbour International Air Safety Award, Federal Bureau of Investigation and Federal Aviation Administration Distinguished Service Awards. In 2009, the Commercial Aviation Safety Team, of which Captain Soliday was the founding co-chair, received the prestigious Collier Trophy for reducing the commercial aviation fatal accident rate by 83% in 10 years, which is the longest period without a commercial aviation fatality in the history of the industry.
After retiring from United Airlines, Representative Soliday was elected to the Indiana House of Representatives in 2006 were he served as a chairman of the House Roads and Transportation Committee until 2011 where he then became chair of the House Utilities, Energy and Telecommunications Committee, and committee member of the House Elections and Apportionment Committee and the Governor’s Security Council.
While in the legislature he received the Indiana State Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Government Official of the year Trophy, the ACEC Gus Grissom trophy, The Indiana Constructors Trophy, The Telecommunications Association Award, and twice received both the Indiana Association of Cities and Towns Outstanding Legislator Trophy and Farm Bureau Legislator of the Year. Soliday also received the Northwest Indiana Building and Construction Trades Council Service to Labor, The Indiana/Kentucky/Ohio Regional Council of Carpenters Voice of Labor, and several other legislator of the year awards.
Representative Soliday has been married to his wife, Mary, since 1969. Ed and Mary have two grown children and two grandchildren. They grew up in and have been residents of Porter County for over 50 years. They attend Liberty Bible Church.

Steve Baker
Bio
Steve Baker is president and chief operation officer of Indiana Michigan Power (I&M). His team is responsible for providing electric service to approximately 600,000 customers in Indiana and Michigan. Baker oversees I&M's distribution operations, safety, customer service, communications, finance, external affairs and regulatory functions.
Baker previously served as vice president, distribution operations for Public Service Company of Oklahoma, and was responsible for the safe and reliable operation of the electric distribution system for approximately 550,000 customers throughout Oklahoma.
Baker began his career as a distribution engineer in 1990 with West Texas Utilities in Abilene, Texas and held a variety of leadership positions at AEP Texas.
Baker received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Texas Tech University. He is a graduate of the Nuclear Reactor Technology Course at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the Executive Program-Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia and the Texas A&M Management Development Program.
Community service and economic development within the I&M service territory are key focus areas for Baker. He serves as a member of the board of directors for the Indiana State Chamber of Commerce, the Indiana Energy Association, Greater Fort Wayne, Inc, the Northeast Indiana Council of CEOs and the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership. Baker is also a member of the Texas Tech University Whitacre College of Engineering Dean's Council.

Kelly Trice
Bio
Kelly Trice is president of Holtec International. In this role, Trice has led the repowering of the 800 MW Palisades Nuclear Power Plant in Michigan, an historic endeavor for the U.S. nuclear industry. Trice is also responsible for ensuring safe, regulatory compliant and efficient decommissioning of Holtec’s shutdown nuclear power plants. Trice has an additional appointment as president of SMR, LLC. In this role, he oversees the development and delivery of Holtec’s SMR-300, a passive light water small modular reactor. He is also Holtec International’s senior vice president for Finance Oversight. He serves as chair of the Finance and Accounting Committee, which is responsible for ensuring Holtec’s utmost fiduciary probity and professional integrity.
Trice is a seasoned professional who specializes in large scale engineering, procurement and construction programs. He has over thirty-five years of executive management experience with full profit and loss responsibility of several large companies. His international programs have included the design, construction, refurbishment, operation and maintenance of industrial plants, including nuclear power, liquified natural gas, chemical, coal fired, combined cycle and refineries. Additional experience includes deal and contract negotiation, financial management, restructuring and turnaround, and mergers and acquisitions.
During his time at Chicago Bridge and Iron (CB&I), Trice served as the president of both the power division, and the facilities and plant services division. In this capacity, he managed approximately 70 offices worldwide with operations spanning four continents, including North and South America, Europe and Asia. At its peak, his enterprise had approximately 200 plants under contract, which included about 40% of the U.S. nuclear operating fleet and another 150 petrochemical plants, 17,000 employees and a backlog of roughly $10B with annual revenues of $3.5B.
Trice also served as executive vice president of Bruce Power, a major utility in Canada, which operates eight nuclear reactors and generates approximately 6.4 GW of power. In this capacity, he had the overall responsibility for all of Bruce Power’s capital programs, as well as the refurbishment of six reactors. The planned budget for this capital program was approximately $14B CAD.
In addition, Trice served in the U.S. Navy for six years as an officer on a nuclear submarine and held several top-secret and Department of Energy Q clearances.
Trice is a graduate of the U.S. Navy’s Nuclear Propulsion Program. Trice earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a master’s in Business Administration from the University of New Mexico.

Matt MacVicar is Vice President of Government Relations at Rolls-Royce, where he leads federal government advocacy for the Company’s nuclear energy and civil aerospace divisions.
Prior to joining Rolls-Royce Government Relations in 2019, Matt held a series of roles spanning from defense aerospace research to mining—with stops in Australia, Canada, and Latin America.
Drawing on a background in international security and energy science, Matt previously served on the board of directors for the Royal Aeronautical Society’s Washington DC Branch where—as Head of Programs—he led global conversations on the intersection of technology and aerospace.

Seungjin Kim Ph.D.
Bio
Dr. Seungjin Kim is Capt. James F. McCarthy Jr. and Cheryl E. McCarthy Head and Professor of the School of Nuclear Engineering at Purdue University. He is also the director of Purdue University Reactor One (PUR-1) and the Advanced Reactor Thermal-hydraulics Laboratory. Dr. Kim earned his Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from Purdue University in 1999. He is recognized as an expert on reactor thermal-hydraulics, reactor safety, two-phase flow, reactor system analysis codes, and computational two-phase flow. Dr. Kim is an American Nuclear Society (ANS) Fellow and has received Technical Achievement Award from ANS, Thermal Hydraulics Division. He served on the Nuclear Energy Advisory Committee (NEAC) in the Office of Nuclear Energy of U.S. Department of Energy in 2018 and 2019. He is the Chair and a founding member of OECD NEA’s Global Forum on Nuclear Education, Science, Technology, and Policy. At Purdue, Dr. Kim is serving as one of the principles-in-charge for Purdue-Duke Energy joint study to explore feasibility of using advanced nuclear technology for Purdue campus community’s long-term energy needs. He also led the consortium for ‘Study on SMR Technology and Its Impact for Indiana’ sponsored by the Indiana Office of Energy Development as the Principal Investigator.
