Drivers who use parking meters downtown and in Broad Ripple won’t have to feed them as often. ParkIndy says it is extending time limits for most of the meters in those areas. Indianapolis police are investigating a crash in which two men were struck Friday about 6 a.m. near West Washington Street and Bridgeport Road. One victim is in critical condition, the other in serious. Police said the men are brothers who were pushing their vehicle after running out of gas. The two were struck from behind by a pickup truck. A witness said the driver of the pickup was speeding and threw something out of his truck after the collision.
