Indianapolis police are seeking a woman who they say has been scamming senior citizens in retirement homes by posing as a health care worker. Police have ruled that a shooting that left a 14-year-old critically injured was an accident. The shooting happened at about 4 p.m. Monday in the 11000 block of Essen Court, near German Church Road, on the far-east side of Indianapolis.
