On a seasonally adjusted basis, the pace of mortgage loan activity fell 5 percent for the week ended Oct. 29, according to the Mortgage Bankers Association. The rate for 30-year mortgages rose to 4.28 percent from 4.25 percent the previous week. The rate for 15-year mortgages decreased to 3.64 percent from 3.67 percent.

-Blackmore & Buckner Roofing leased 54,000 square feet at 1504 Sadlier Circle, South Drive. The tenant was represented by Tony Hupp and Cam Kucic of Summit Realty Group. The landlord, First Industrial Realty Trust, was represented by Nikhil Gunale and John Hanley of CB Richard Ellis.

-Indy Powder Coating leased 28,500 square feet of industrial space at 4300 W. 10th St. The tenant was represented by Kevin Kempf of Cassidy Turley and J.D. Graves of CB Richard Ellis. The landlord, Speedway Industrial Park, was represented by Bill Byram of Cassidy Turley.

-Harvest Scents & Traders LLC leased 25,646 square feet of industrial space in Crosspoint II, at 9900 Westpoint Drive. The tenant was represented by Drew Pattyn of Northern Commercial. The landlord, ING Clarion Partners, was represented by Fritz Kauffman and Bryan Poynter of Cassidy Turley.

-PSC Industries Inc. leased 22,400 square feet of industrial space at 2525 N. Shadeland Ave. The tenant was represented by Kevin Kempf of Cassidy Turley. The landlord, Western Select Properties, was represented by Greg Folz and Michael Weishaar of Cassidy Turley.

-Indiana Business Bank renewed its lease for 6,399 square feet at 250 E. 96th St., Suite 100. The tenant was represented by Jon Hardy of Coldwell Banker Commercial Realty Services. The landlord, Duke Realty, represented itself.

-Zeta Beta Tau leased 4,305 square feet at Ten Fortune Park, 3905 Vincennes Road. The tenant was represented by Nick Svarczkopf of CB Richard Ellis. The landlord, IMG Realty Trust III, was represented by Ralph Balber and Matt Kiger of Halakar Real Estate.

-Anesthesia Consultants of Indianapolis leased 3,000 square feet at Sycamore Springs Office Park, 4725 Statesman Drive, Suites C & D.  The landlord, MSE Realty, was represented by Ralph Balber and Ashley Bussell of Halakar Real Estate. The tenant represented itself.

-Dynatemp Inc. renewed its lease for 3,000 square feet in Greenwood Oaks Business Centre, 500 S. Polk St, Greenwood. The tenant and landlord, Greenwood Oaks Investments LLC, were represented by Cathy Richards of Lee & Associates.

-Lewis and Wilkins LP leased 2,100 square feet of office space at Fall Creek Shoppes, 11206 Fall Creek Road. The tenant was represented by Brian Augustin of NAI Olympia Partners. The landlord, Fall Creek Shoppes LLC, was represented by Harvey Levin of Coldwell Banker Commercial Realty Services.

-Genesis Marketing Group Inc. renewed its lease for 1,800 square feet in Greenwood Oaks Business Centre, 500 S. Polk St, Greenwood. The tenant and landlord, Greenwood Oaks Investments LLC, were represented by Cathy Richards of Lee & Associates.

-Caskey & Daily LLC leased 1,700 square feet at Sycamore Springs Office Park, 4745 Statesman Drive, Suite C. The tenant was represented by Kurt Meyer of Baseline Inc. The landlord, MSE Realty, was represented by Ralph Balber and Ashley Russell of Halakar Real Estate.

-Al Basha Gyros leased 1,600 square feet of retail space in Broad Ripple Station, 1045 Broad Ripple Ave. The tenant was represented by Ron Mannon and Scott Herider of Lee & Associates. The landlord, LOR Corp., represented itself.

Sales/acquisitions

-MultiTech Realty LLC bought a 32,000-square-foot industrial building at 946 Western Drive. The price wasn’t disclosed. The buyer was represented by Jason Speckman of NAI Olympia Partners. The seller, Nistem Precision Inc., was represented by Luke Wessel of Cassidy Turley.

-Platinum Group LLC bought a 348-unit apartment complex at 4100 N. Post Road. The price wasn’t disclosed. The buyer was represented by Scott Herider of Lee & Associates. The seller, Oaktree Apartments LLC, was represented by Rick Vidrio and Rick Brace of Hendricks Partners.

Funding biggest obstacle for proposed regional transit system

No jail time for ex-Carmel player

A former Carmel High School basketball player charged in a sexual assault case will see no jail time. A plea deal means Scott Laskowski will see the charges against him reduced from three counts of misdemeanor criminal recklessness to one charge. He must also testify against three of his former teammates, who still face charges in the case. As part of the deal, he will serve one year probation and perform 40 hours of community service.
