-Kort Builders has completed a 4,000-square-foot retail space for the apparel retailer Rue 21 and Simon Property Group at 13971 Hamilton Town Center Blvd., Noblesville.

On a seasonally adjusted basis, the pace of mortgage loan activity increased 14.6 percent for the week ended Feb. 26, according to the Mortgage Bankers Association. The rate for 30-year mortgages decreased to 4.95 percent from 5.03 percent the previous week. The rate for 15-year mortgages fell to 4.27 percent from 4.35 percent.

-Nice-Pak Products Inc. leased 813,054 square feet at 381 Airtech Parkway, Plainfield. The lease, one of the largest in the market in the last year, allows Nice-Pak to consolidate distribution operations it currently has at 595 and 1390 Perry Road. The tenant was represented by Matt Kiger and Ralph Balber of Halakar Real Estate. The landlord, Sentinel Real Estate Corp., was represented by Andrew Morris, Jeremy Woods and Matt McGrady of Summit Realty Group.

-BITECH Inc. d/b/a Performance Bicycle Shop leased 11,862 square feet at Castleton Commons, 8366 Castle Corner Drive. The tenant was represented by Mark Perlstein of Sitehawk Retail Real Estate. The landlord, Castleton Shopping Center LLC, was represented by Cindy Hoskinson, Scot Courtney and Bart Jackson of Grubb & Ellis Harding Dahm & Co.  

-VHA Inc. leased 8,110 square feet at 8900 Keystone Crossing. The tenant was represented by Brooke Augustin of NIA Olympia Partners. The landlord, Philadelphia-based BGP Properties Ltd., was represented by John R. Robinson and Abby L. Cooper of Jones Lang LaSalle.

-Monarch Management and Realty Inc. leased 4,372 square feet of office space at 3003 E. 98th St. The landlord, TW Investments LLC, was represented by David A. Moore and Darrin L. Boyd of Cassidy Turley. The tenant represented itself.

-Andrew B. Gaston leased 3,160 square feet of office space at 8730 Commerce Park Place. The landlord, Dhillon Commerce Park LLC, was represented by David A. Moore and Darrin L. Boyd of Cassidy Turley. The tenant represented itself.
 
-MS Cos. leased 3,400 square feet of office space at The 916 Building, 916 E. Westfield Blvd. The landlord, 916 E Westfield LLC, was represented by Scott Lacy of Asset One Real Estate Co. The tenant represented itself.

-U.S. Bank National Association leased 2,536 square feet of office space at 10 W. Market St. The tenant was represented by John A. Crisp of Cassidy Turley. The landlord, MT Acquisitions LLC, was represented by David A. Moore, Darrin L. Boyd and Andrew D. Martin of Cassidy Turley.

-Liberty Tax Services Inc. leased 1,250 square feet at South Greenwood Shoppes, 6001 N. U.S. 31, Whiteland. Cathy Richards of Grubb & Ellis Harding Dahm & Co. represented the landlord, HRCP Inc., and the tenant.

-Broad Ripple Knits leased 1,200 square feet of retail space at The Guilford Building, 6367 Guilford Ave.  The tenant was represented by Scott Lacy of Asset One Real Estate Co. The landlord, AST Acquisition I, represented itself.

-Sandella's Flatbread Café leased 1,600 square feet at Allyne Park, 1011 N. State Road 135, Greenwood. The landlord, Allyne Park Dynasty, was represented by Liz Yoho of Providence Development. The tenant represented itself.

-Bella Bridesmaid leased 882 square feet of showroom space at The 916 Building, 916 E. Westfield Blvd. The landlord, 916 E Westfield LLC, was represented by Scott Lacy of Asset One Real Estate Co. The tenant represented itself.

Sales/acquisitions

March 8, 2010

-DKLD LLC bought a 13,000-square-foot industrial building at 1605 Prospect St. The buyer was represented by Bill Brennan and Steve Beals of Grubb & Ellis Harding Dahm & Co. The sellers, CDS Inc. and Alpha LP, were represented by Ted McClure of McClure Commercial & Industrial Realty. The price wasn’t disclosed.

-Blue Lake Development Inc. bought 65.66 acres at 3023 W. Morris St. The buyer was represented by Stan Elser of Grubb & Ellis Harding Dahm & Co. The seller, Capstone Advisory, was represented by Sean McHale and Dean Anos of Equis Realty Group. The price wasn't disclosed.

–Chip Barnes, Matt Dickerson and Brett Spitzer of NAI Olympia Partners have been hired by Holladay Properties to market its World Connect campus, which is within the Ameriplex development just south of Interstate 70 and Indianapolis International Airport. World Connect comprises eight sites being marketed to house logistics facilities.

Scale Computing lands $9M from Silicon Valley venture firm
