Madison County authorities are investigating a gruesome creek scene in the town of Ingalls: the bodies of as many as 15 dead
dogs, most of them decapitated. Police found the bodies in Fall Creek near County Road 750 West late Thursday. Most if not

Johnson County authorities say that a former Indianapolis youth volunteer already in jail awaiting trial on child molestation
charges tried to hire a hitman to kill witnesses, including teenagers and an infant. On Thursday, new charges were filed by
the Johnson County prosecutor against 30-year-old Jonathan Hartman, who was arrested in April 2009. The youth volunteer at

Authorities now say that one of Hartman’s former fellow inmates reported that Hartman tried to hire him to kill witnesses
