Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Tuesday morning in Indianapolis during an apparent home robbery.
Just after 7 a.m., four suspects allegedly tried to rob a home near 21st Street and Drexel Avenue. Police say gunfire was
exchanged and a female robbery suspect was fatally shot by the homeowner following a struggle. The homeowner, who was shot
in the face, was taken to Wishard Hospital in stable condition. Fox59 will have more at 4 p.m.

KLC Realty LLC bought the Colby Shoppes, a multi-tenant retail center at 954 N. State Road 135, Greenwood. The 17,739-square-foot property sold for $1.3 million. The buyer was represented by Brian T. Southworth and Nathan D. Whalen of the Indianapolis office of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services. Southworth and Whalen also represented the seller, First Merchants Bank.

A teenager accused of killing three friends in a drunken-driving crash goes on trial Monday. Police say 19-year old John Wilson
slammed his car into a tree along Moller Road in Indianapolis in December 2008, killing three passengers. He was driving between
58 mph and 68 mph in a 35-mph zone, according to investigators. Wilson faces multiple charges, including operating a vehicle
while intoxicated, causing death.

An Indiana Senate bill would make it legal for state micro-breweries to sell carry-out beer on Sundays. Sunday sales of wine
already are permitted at the stateâ??s wineries. The bill would not affect beer sales at grocery and liquor stores.

A heater may be to blame for a fire at a hotel on the east side of Indianapolis that began either late Sunday night or early
Monday morning, according to investigators. The fire broke out in a second-story room at the Budget Inn East near 21st Street
and Shadeland Avenue. Damage was contained to that room, according to crews, and no injuries were reported. Fox59 will have
more at 4 p.m.
