Housing
On a seasonally adjusted basis, the pace of mortgage loan activity increased 3.2 percent for the week ending Nov. 6, according
to the Mortgage Bankers Association. Rates for 30-year loans decreased to 4.90 percent from 4.97 percent the previous week.
Fifteen-year mortgages were unchanged at 4.33 percent.
Construction
-Hagerman Inc. has been named general contractor and MD Architects PC is the designer of a $1 million expansion and renovation of Bangs Laboratories, 9025 Technology Drive, Fishers. The project, which will add 7,500 square feet, is to begin this month and be completed by April.
-Alt Construction has started work on a 3,000-square-foot tenant build-out for Optimal Wellness at 4545 Northwestern Drive, Fishers. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of this month.
-Alt Construction is finishing a 2,210-square-foot tenant build-out for Dr. Adam W. Brazus at 8433 Harcourt Road.

Toddler found walking street alone
Police believe they’ve found the family of a missing toddler that was found wandering alone Saturday on the near-northwest
side of Indianapolis. The little girl was found near 21st Street and Harding Avenue carrying an ash tray.
Police on Monday morning said the girlâ??s relatives contacted them after seeing her picture on the evening news. The girl
is in the custody of child protective services.
Man dies after west-side shooting
Police are interviewing three people they think were involved in a deadly shooting Sunday night on the near-west side of Indianapolis.
The shooting happened on North Alton Avenue near 18th Street about 10 p.m. The victim died a few minutes after being taken
to the hospital. Officers detained two men and a woman, but aren’t releasing anymore details. â??Apparently the witness heard
the shot and saw what they thought was trash being dumped out of a green Jeep-type vehicle, but it was actually the body of
a man,â?? Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Sgt. Paul Thompson said. Fox59 will have more at 4 p.m.
