Hurco Cos. Inc. today reported profit of $4.7 million for its second fiscal quarter ended April 30 compared to $3.9 million a year earlier. Revenue increased 15 percent, to $42.5 million. The Indianapolis-based maker of interactive computer controls, software and machine tools attributed the upswing partly to rising demand, mostly in Europe.
