On a seasonally adjusted basis, the pace of mortgage loan activity increased 11.3 percent for the week ended Jan. 28, according to the Mortgage Bankers Association. The search is on for the driver who crashed an SUV into a south-side Indianapolis home on Saturday and then drove away. Warren Beal said he heard loud crashing noises as he and his fiancee slept at their home in the 3900 block of Carson Avenue. Moments later, the driver took off. During the getaway, the driver caused more damage to the yards of other neighbors. The whole incident may have been caught on surveillance camera.
