    1. Rokita has always been this way. Keep on voting Republican no matter who and this is what you get.

  1. Sorry Mr Rokita that is simply not acceptable. If you want to continue as AG, give up the private sector job and dedicate your time to the real job of AG. Extremely bad judgement and pretty slimy to do this. Hopefully someone can help him see the light.

  2. Rokita was a full time Trump supporter when in Congress and learned that public service can be more lucrative if you retain your private business interests. How many health related issues will come before the AG in the next 4 years? Rokita will know and like Trump will make decisions that are in the “public interest.” A new definition of “public interest” will arise depending on the issue. This stinks and the Inspector General should get one of those “Profiles in Cowardice” awards the 47 Senate Rs just earned. The Inspector General could not possibly know that Rokita’s outside interests “do not conflict with his official duties” unless that person is so clairvoyant that every issue that will arise in the next 4 years are already known to that Solon. Doubtful.

  3. Are you freaking kidding? In what universe is it acceptable for a full-time elected official to have a side gig? Does Indiana have a state ethics office? If not, it’s time to have one, led by an independent professional who is not subject to firing. The first case to review: this one!

  4. In the best of all possible worlds, Rokita would be impeached in the General Assembly for this obvious conflict of interest. But, unfortunately, the legislature is full of persons drafting and passing bills that *directly* effect their personal business interests. It being a “part-time” legislature is beside the point. It’s clear that there is a crony culture in the State House that permits unethical behavior. This is allowed because the legislators do not report fully their side interests and financial entanglements in ethics reports or disclosures.

  5. Dang I came down here to read the juicy comments from the usual Trumper crowd but found only common sense….they must be using devoting their time elsewhere…
