Subscribe NowThomas Hardy, 61, was sentenced Thursday morning to life in prison without parole for the murder of Indianapolis police officer David Moore. Hardy pleaded guilty last month to shooting Moore during a traffic stop in January 2011. Hardy received an additional 40-year sentence on robbery and firearm charges. A plea agreement allowed Hardy to escape the death penalty.
