Despite having the fifth-best record in the NBA this season, the team ranked second-to-last in home attendance, averaging 14,168 fans. Stern, speaking at halftime of the Pacers’ playoff victory over Orlando on Monday, acknowledged the numbers are below where they should be, but expressed confidence that the team’s revamped front office will bring the number up.
