Indianapolis paramedics Timothy McCormick, 24, and Cody Medley, 22, died from injuries sustained when their ambulance was struck by a car that failed to stop for a flashing red light. The driver of that car, 21-year-old Jade Hammer, admitted to consuming alcohol before the crash, but her blood-alcohol level was found to be 0.038 percent, well below the legal limit of 0.08 percent.
