Grants
Arts for Learning received a $10,000 grant from the Indiana Arts Commission to fund an arts-integrated literacy program in conjunction with the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore and the Westchester Township History Museum in Porter County.
Project Lead the Way received a $490,000 grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. to give students in 10 Indiana high schools, including Carmel High School, New Palestine High School and Plainfield High School, access to its biomedical science program.
Twelve breast health programs in central Indiana received a total of $883,000 in Community Impact grants from Susan G. Komen Central Indiana.
Stand for Children Leadership Center Indiana received a two-year $250,000 grant from Eli Lilly and Co. Foundation to support its family education program.
