  1. Another example of a backwards state. “They must provide one sterile syringe and needle in exchange for each used one, in response to criticism that the programs provide more sterile needles to participants than are collected in return.” Think about why someone shares a needle with another person in the first place.. it’s because they don’t have any extras that are clean. So this solves only part of the problem. Also, what purpose does it serve to prove your residence? Surely it will act as a deterrent for some people to get the clean needles they need.

    1. +1

No real thought. Noone is BECOMING a user because they had access to a free needle. Lets support all humans, no matter their residence.

    2. Randy you need a new troupe. A minor political decision you disagree with does not make a State “backward”

    3. Chuck, you’re really not one to talk about tropes (and check your spelling, big guy). Since you claim to follow my commentary, you must be well aware this is the least of the things that make Indiana a backwards state and that I call out that problem consistently. People sharing infected needles and contracting HIV or Hep C is NOT a “minor political decision”. It results in very serious bodily injury (which I presume you don’t care about) and huge sums of money to medically treat (which I assume you probably object to).

    4. Randy, I live in a “backwards” State, which, according to this space, is up to 40 years “behind”.
That is how we spell it down in the holler

    1. Edward Jackson went to trial on bribery charges, had the full support of DC Stephenson and was an advocate for the KKK’s agenda
Fortunately Jackson supported giving free clean needles to drug addicts, thus sparing him the indignity of being declared “worst IN governor in history!” by Michael.
