  1. Great. Now this genius, appointed only because he bowed out of the Democrat Presidential running and his sexual preference, is an expert on airline business management.

    Sheriff Taylor is out of town and we have people running the country with less proficiency than Barney Fife.

    1. Dear Barney;

      His educational and public/military service might have something to say about your claims of his proficieney.

      Buttigieg is a graduate of Harvard College and Oxford University, attending the latter on a Rhodes Scholarship.

      From 2009 to 2017, he was an intelligence officer in the United States Navy Reserve, attaining the rank of lieutenant. He was mobilized and deployed to the War in Afghanistan for seven months in 2014 as an intelligence officer.

      Referencing the historic list of DOT Secretaries reveals he achieved the highest level of education and qualifications equal to or greater than any previous DOT Secretary.

      His nomination was confirmed on February 2, 2021, by a vote of 86–13

    2. Pat there lies the problem that people are getting put into these jobs who have no experience. He has absolutely zero experiencing managing any type of transportation company or network. Just because he has a college degree doesn’t mean he knows what he’s doing. All these jobs are political payback for supporting a candidate.

  2. This is just grandstanding. Pete is about 1 year away from going on tour begging for $ for his next election, if he hasn’t started already. There is ZERO chance there will be any adverse consequences for the airlines. A month from now when nothing has changed, let’s see if the adoring “journalists” do a follow up story.
