Season is over
Lots of questions about the Fever hiding the injury until an hour before tip off. Also starting to see sparse attendance even for a home game. Would be interesting to know the number of tickets that actually scanned in to the building, but that doesn’t fit the narrative so we will never know.
More importantly, the only reason IBJ, or me, or 90% of the population knows the WNBA is in season is because of CC and CC is having serious injury and availability issues very early in her career. Will be interesting to see how it pans out long term.
These injuries could be related to her first season in the league. She was hammered constantly and brutalized.
The league better hope she comes back and can stay healthy.
