  1. lol Salesforce donating(tax write-off) $10 per day for what, 10 business days? I’m all for raising money for charity but give me a break. I’ll just donate it myself if they let me stay at home.

    1. “Following the money” might suggest that office workers are saving a ton of money on auto and parking expenses when they WFH instead of commuting downtown.

      I’d wager that only a miniscule few have used that money to contribute to charities dealing with hunger, homelessness, etc.

  2. Companies aren’t listening to their employees to learn what they need to be productive and efficient, they’re sticking to their decades-old patronizing. Seems to me 90% or more of executives and managers should not exist in this business climate – we have information to make good decisions at lower and lower levels in a company – cut the tops off.

  3. Let’s get real. This has very little to do with collaboration and providing more opportunities for learning for employees. This has to do with the huge amount of commercial real estate owned by these companies that can’t be subleased because there isn’t a market for it, so it sits empty while they are still paying for it.

    1. You keep asking random people this Chris – but I donated about 95k to my 2 favorite organizations since Covid started with all the money we saved from not being part of the daily consumer culture grind

  4. Gimme a break. Employees claim returning to their office “will impinge on their productivity, mental health, and work-life balance”? What was their productivity, mental health, and work-life balance like before the pandemic? If it was a bad as they claim if will be if they return, they should leave the workforce and get therapeutic help.
