  1. It is still BS that state lawmakers are trying to dismantle public schools, and give away assets paid for with my tax dollars to private organizations.

    1. What do you propose they do with underutilized public school assets full of fixed costs?

    2. Anthony, allow the system to sell the buildings and use the money to improve its own schools — not fund other entities that had no hand in building them in the first place.

  2. Anthony, how about this? The locally-elected board of education, responsible to the taxpayers who funded the building in question, makes an independent decision about disposal of unused assets?

Home rule at its finest. Minus pandering.

  3. Anthony, allow the system to sell the buildings and use the money to improve its own schools — not fund other entities that had no hand in building them in the first place.

  4. Another perfect example of rural legislators punishing Indianapolis because they resent the “big city”. Classic cutting off your nose to spite your face. See “Death of Indiana banking”. It never stops.
