  1. At first glance, it looks like every Marion County township lost population again this year, but not much. After the big decline a couple years ago, population loss in Marion County slowed a lot last year. Maybe will reverse/renormalize. Part of it depends on what happens with the housing market.

    1. I find it very difficult to believe that the the townships on the south side
      lost population.
      There is a housing shortage in those townships.
      Very few houses go up for sale and the apartment complex’s are full.

      There must be a flaw in the census systems.

    1. Among other sources of information, they have mover data from IRS tax returns. They also know births, deaths, etc.

  2. I dint think Indianapolis is losing people. There are a lot of
    migrants and southeast Asians that have moved here.
    People that typically may not be countec for various reasons.
