    Things feel different this time. Project 2025 lays out the unlawful dismantling of the US Government and we are seeing that happen in real time as the executive branch blows past congress and the courts. All of that data you quoted was based on administrations that still agreed there were norms and limits. Even Trump 1.0 felt like the guardrails were working, right up until Jam 6th.

    I sure hope you’re right and I am wrong but the current Republican party is not so much political party as it is a cult following a deeply unpopular ideology. I don’t think it will go well for the next 4 years.
