    1. I have to agree. Weird project, in a weird place for that type of project. I would think the low occupancy rate of the completed apartment, would be a sign that maybe it’s not suited for that area.

    2. The neighborhood is out of sight and out of mind because it’s tucked in just south of Fall Creek. The whole area was cut off from traffic coming from the south because the Interstate chopped off 16th Street. It’s hard to get to this area from the north because south bound Sutherland has no access from 38th Street. It’s closer to a lot of stuff than you think.

  1. Makes no sense. Area has long term potential for residential growth. But there is no nearby attraction (save the short term fair as mentioned by another.) No entertainment district.

Misguided attempt for an unseasoned developer.

    1. It’s 1.2 miles/5 minutes from The Children’s Museum, the world’s largest of its kind. Well over a million visitors a year and not all of them come from the metro area.

  2. Doubtful about the prospects of this project but am happy to see private developers take initiative outside of the central business district, as it’s clear this City does not give a fuck about the rest of the County outside of downtown and areas along the four diagonals. Well, at least three of them.
