The owner of a planned retail center directly west of Hamilton Town Center in Noblesville has filled the 110,000-square-foot complex with a roster of high-profile tenants including Burlington, Marshalls, Michaels and Petco.

The stores will be located in one section of the MarketPlace at Saxony retail project, which already includes the 82,000-square-foot Cabela’s outdoor outfitter’s store, as well as locations for Duluth Trading Co. and Primanti Bros.

The six new stores will be situated contiguously in a retail center at 14000 Cabela Parkway. The developer hopes to begin construction this month, according to Keith Fried, senior leasing associate for Indianapolis-based McCrea Property Group, which is leasing and managing the project.

Here are the tenants who have committed to the project:

— Burlington (formerly Burlington Coat factory) will anchor the center with a 35,111-square-foot store. The retailer operates 651 stores in 45 states and Puerto Rico, including five in central Indiana.

— Discount clothier Marshalls, a format of TJ Maxx parent The TJX Cos., has agreed to lease 22,522 square feet. The company operates 1,062 stores in the U.S., including seven in central Indiana.

— Hobby and craft retailer Michaels will lease 21,308 square feet. The Michaels Cos. has more than 1,200 stores in North America, including three in central Indiana.

— Petco has signed on to lease 13,500 square feet. The supplier of pet food, products and services has more than 1,500 stores in the U.S. and Mexico, including four in the Indianapolis area.

— Home decor retailer Kirkland’s will occupy 8,500 square feet. Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Kirkland's has 425 stores in 36 states, including two stores in central Indiana (Indianapolis and Plainfield).

— Discount Store Five Below has agreed to lease 8,204 square feet. It counts more than 700 stores in 33 states, Including six in the Indianapolis area.

MarketPlace at Saxony is part of a 280-acre office and retail project under development by Toledo, Ohio-based Republic Development LLC. The owner of the complex that will include Burlington and Michaels is owned by MarketPlace Junior Anchors LLC, which through Fried declined to comment on the project.

MarketPlace at Saxony also is part of the 3,600-acre Noblesville Corporate Campus area, which the city identified as ripe for growth nearly two decades ago. Hamilton Town Center, located just west of Interstate 69’s exit 210,  opened about 12 years ago, and a slew of advanced-manufacturing companies, retailers, restaurants and hotels followed suit.

The immediate environment is rife with traffic and affluent residents. Marketing material from McCrea notes that nearly 100,000 cars pass by on I-69 every day, and Campus Parkway north of the MarketPlace Junior project carries about 30,000 cars daily.
